I have to apologize for being so silent lately.
But its basically due to work that has kept me from your presence.
Things have taken a turn in the workplace and it was essential that I not get distracted to other parts of my life in order to navigate through those dangerous waters.
I have yet pass the "sea of monsters" but I did manage to survive the "labyrinth" with minimal casualties.
Thank you for understanding.

The things we do to get laid ...
Its a little strange to be sitting beside a couple that has the girl teaching the boy how to get a date.
Seriously.
Its very disconcerting.
She is literally teaching him what to say and what to do.
Every single sentence that could and might be used.
Surreal.
"Ways to find a friend of the opposite sex and how to build your self confidence"
That's what she is teaching the guy.
It even has books and exercise sheets for the guy to study on.
Apparently "Hitch" was not a movie after all.
There are actually people who pay money to learn how to talk to the half of the gender.
And I do it for free.
Bloody hell.

Aye, all the nay sayers and what not ...
I seldom post anything political here.
For several reasons.
1. Its not a political blog.
2. Its not conducive when statements are made without facts.
3. Nothing good will happen when you are behind bars.
But today, I might venture a little into this area, for its already plastered everywhere in the Dailies.
The latest by-election that has opened up in the Sibu area is becoming very interesting.
Its not the first by-election to happen in the recent years but its one of the places that gave the current Government its support in the last general election when majority of the people in the Peninsula gave up on it.
These people who have supported the Governing party for so long have been living in a state where not a lot of federal support was given to help them at all. It is not to say that they don't get support but they don't get ENOUGH support.
The former state assembly person had put in a lot of effort to help make Sibu something to be proud of today but it was an uphill battle for him, as it is for most areas in Sabah and Sarawak.
Like for instance these so call flooding incidents that has plague them for so long. Not enough resources was available to really do anything to levy the issue.
That is until now.
All this "help" suddenly appeared because of two political parties that are now striving to make the people "like" them more.
For now, pledges will be made.
Promises will be shouted.
Money put on the table for the benefit of the community.
Good for the people of Sibu, whom are now getting assistance.
But what about the rest of the country that is being neglected?
Frankly I am sick of this kind of "vote wooing/governing" method.
If it was not for the by-election, would the people of Sibu even get a column in the Dailies for their flooding problems?
Would the federal government even bother to allot funds to help the people in those areas to ease future happenings of these incidents?
This is exactly like it was before the 2008 election.
Our roads were filled with pot holes years on end until it was near election time where suddenly we all get brand new pavings.
And district assembly-person suddenly appear to ask you how was business for the last 4 years that he/she was reigning in power.
Hypocrites.
Is the current "new" state government better?
I can't truly say that its better but I do know that the roads are now serviced periodically.
The bill boards are actually not blocking the view of the town.
And most of all, we get to know that the state government is not perfect.
The transparency within the governing body is for all to see and scrutinize.
So back to the question, "Are they better?"
I am not sure yet, but at least I get to see and understand them better the next time I cast my vote.

Simply simple ...
Because the hearts wants what the heart wants.
It’s a common phrase but how true is it?
We all want to be someone that we aren't.
We all want to be with someone which we aren't.
We all want to be somewhere that we aren't.
So how much does the heart wants that the heart actually gets.
And how practical would it be.
Trust me that I am not bellying anything that is part of my current life.
It’s a phrase that caught my eye and I began to wonder about it.
As I age, I realized that I no longer want as much as I was younger.
I began a phase which stops me from wanting something to just admiring things for what there are.
Have always loved sitting by the pool side and admiring the rain as it splashes into it.
I love watching the pretty ladies walk by with their large handbags and the tiny smile on their faces.
The children that run around the mannequin shouting with all the air in their lungs.
Is this part of aging?
Or just me simply getting comfortable in my own skin.
Does the heart want what the heart wants?
Or does it know that it already has it in its grasp.
